Your host, Bernd Barbrock, lives and enjoys Cape Town since 1998. He is the owner of Surf & Bike former owner of the Cape Surf Hostel since. An absolute water junkie, he discovered his zest for mountain biking 14 years ago and is since then unstoppable. Always on the go for new trails and routes to share with you. He shares his dedication and passion for South Africa and outdoor sports with guests from Europe since 24 years.
CARMEN ODERMATT
Carmen Odermatt moved to Cape Town in 2000. Her love for Africa’s vibrant taste, colours and textures is reflected in the house as well as on the plates. She is responsible for the culinary and lifestyle side of the bike tours. Owner of DURCHZUG handbags, Carmen is a lover of all things nice and constantly inspired by Cape Town and its surrounds.
